Main Plot: 

The golden age of pirates is ending, slowly but surely. All major treasure has been found, naval ships becoming too wary and clever to defeat, and the danger of the profession killing off many of the greatest pirates to ever set sail. Set in a steam punk Industrial Revolution era, there is one treasure left to be found, one last great adventure before the world leaves behind the once feared pirates. However, that map is in code, glyphs of an ancient language long since dead. Few scholars know how to read it, and few pirates care enough to cling to the old ways of life. But a brave crew led by the daring Captain [Female] plans on making that final quest their own, and they’ve found just the linguist…

Female Character:

Brave, reckless, and of fiery spirit, Captain [Female] worked day in and day out to attain the respect of her peers, and all her hard work paid off in the form of her own ship with a crew working under her. She came by the treasure map through a successful raid, and now seeks a linguist to translate the map and help them find it. [Female] found one in [Male], kidnapping him and forcing him to translate the map en route to the location. She is not happy about the decline of piracy, and clings to the old ways with a fierce determination. 

Male Character:

[Male] is from a wealthy family, and incredibly well educated. He has a lot of problems interacting with the public, mainly obsessed with books and learning. Rather than apply his brilliant mind to petty things such as politics or social events as his parents would like him to, he has a knack for languages, and a deep love of cultures. However, he has never been outside his little world, and would tell others that he is perfectly happy there (if he could get the sentence out). But deep down, there is a part of him that yearns for something more. Deep, deep down. During a social event, he was kidnapped by [Female] and is now being forced to translate glyphs for the Captain and her crew.

Main Plot

It’s the roaring 20s, and the world is covered in a haze of sin and cigarette smoke. Corruption lurks in every corner, even in the most seemingly pure places.
